The firm began as Miplly Accounting, an accounting firm based in San Diego, CA, serving small businesses with bookkeeping and tax. As the firm grew, so did the complexity of the work. Clients expanded across multiple entities, states, and income streams, requiring deeper involvement and more strategic oversight.
Over time, a growing portion of that work came from the entertainment and creative industries. Artists, creators, and talent-led businesses operate differently. Income moves quickly, structures need to stay flexible, and financial decisions carry real downstream impact.
